3D SCANNING LOCATION
We offer an in-house 3D scanning service at our base in Cheshire to reduce travel costs.
OBJECT OR PART SIZE
The size of an object or part can affect 3D scanning costs. Large objects typically take longer to scan, and require the use of more scanning targets.
GEOMETRY
The geometry of an object or part will affect 3D scanning costs. 3D scanning a complex object or part with fine details and features such as, holes, bores, thin sections, sharp edges and multiple sides requires more scanning time.
QUANTITY OF OBJECTS OR PARTS
The more objects or parts that need to be scanned, the higher the overall project cost. Each part will require to be scanned individually and the data processed and aligned.
